Estimados Poeliteratos:
En esta entrada os paso la adaptación teatral que han elaborado los integrantes del GRUPO 2 (Lucía, Adriana, Gema y Mariem) del cuento clásico de los hermanos Grimm, Hamsel y Gretel.

HANSEL Y GRETEL
Duración: 10-15 minutos
Personajes (6):
- Narrador/a (puede dar voz al ambiente y conectar escenas)
- Hansel
- Gretel
- Padre (leñador)
- Madrastra
- Bruja
ESCENA 1 – En la casa del leñador
Narrador/a:
Había una vez, al borde de un gran bosque, un pobre leñador que vivía con su mujer y sus dos hijos: Hansel y Gretel.
Padre:
(Triste) No tengo leña ni comida… ¿qué voy a hacer con mis hijos?
Madrastra:
(Fría y decidida) ¡Tengo una idea! Mañana los llevamos al bosque y… los dejamos allí.
Padre:
¡No! ¡Eso no! Son nuestros hijos.
Madrastra:
Si no lo haces, moriremos todos de hambre.
Narrador/a:
Esa noche, Hansel y Gretel escucharon la conversación.
Gretel:
(Susurrando) Hansel, ¿qué vamos a hacer?
Hansel:
Tranquila, hermanita. Tengo un plan. Voy a recoger piedrecitas blancas para marcar el camino.
(Hansel finge recoger piedritas mientras suena una música suave de noche y luna)
ESCENA 2 – En el bosque
Narrador/a:
A la mañana siguiente, el padre y la madrastra llevaron a los niños al bosque.
Madrastra:
Aquí tienen un trozo de pan. No se lo coman todo de golpe.
Padre:
Descansen junto al fuego. Volveremos por ustedes.
Narrador/a:
Pero no volvieron. Cuando anocheció, Gretel empezó a llorar.
Gretel:
Hansel, ¡estamos perdidos!
Hansel:
No te preocupes. Espera a que salga la luna… ¡mira! Las piedrecitas brillan como estrellas. Sigamos el camino.
(Caminan siguiendo las luces imaginarias. Música alegre. Llegan a casa.)
Padre:
¡Mis hijos! ¡Pensé que no volvería a verlos!
Madrastra:
(Bruñendo los brazos) ¡Ya están aquí! Qué "sorpresa"…
ESCENA 3 – Segunda vez en el bosque
Narrador/a:
Pero la comida volvió a acabarse, y la madrastra convenció otra vez al padre. Esa noche, Hansel quiso salir por más piedras… ¡pero la puerta estaba cerrada con llave!
Hansel:
No puedo salir, Gretel. Esta vez usaré migas de pan para marcar el camino. (Cambio de escena: caminan y Hansel va soltando migas)
Narrador/a:
Pero los pajaritos del bosque se las comieron todas.
Gretel:
Hansel… ¡no hay camino!
Hansel:
Tenemos que seguir buscando.
ESCENA 4 – La casa de dulces
Narrador/a:
De pronto, vieron una casita hecha de pan y dulces.
Gretel:
¡Qué casa tan rica!
Hansel:
Yo comeré un trozo del techo, tú prueba las ventanas. (Ruido de mordiscos divertidos)
Bruja:
(Desde dentro, con voz cantarina)
¿Quién mordisquea mi casita?
Hansel y Gretel:
¡El viento!
Narrador/a:
Pero la puerta se abrió y apareció una vieja bruja.
Bruja:
Venid, mis pequeños, venid a mi casa. Os daré comida y una cama blandita. (Ellos entran)
Narrador/a:
Esa noche, durmieron felices… pero la bruja era malvada.
ESCENA 5 – En la casa de la bruja Bruja:
(Al amanecer) ¡Arriba, flojos! Hansel se queda en el establo hasta que engorde. Gretel, tú cocinarás.
Gretel:
¡No! ¡No le hagas daño a mi hermano!
Bruja:
¡Silencio! O tú también acabarás en el horno.
Narrador/a:
Cada día, la bruja le pedía a Hansel que mostrara un dedo. Pero él le enseñaba un huesito.
Bruja:
¡Qué flaco sigues! Mañana, gordo o flaco, te comeré.
Gretel:
(Rezando bajito) Por favor, Dios, ayúdanos…
Bruja:
(Gruñendo) Gretel, mira si el horno está caliente.
Gretel:
No sé cómo hacerlo.
Bruja:
(Impaciente) ¡Así, tonta! ¡Mira, como yo! (Bruja mete la cabeza y Gretel la empuja)
Gretel:
¡Al horno, bruja mala!
(Ruido de fuego y chillidos cómicos)
ESCENA 6 – El regreso a casa
Narrador/a:
Gretel liberó a Hansel y juntos encontraron cofres llenos de joyas. Hansel:
¡Esto vale más que el pan duro de casa! Gretel:
¡Volvamos con papá!
(Cruzan un río imaginario ayudados por un pato invisible) Padre:
(Hablando con emoción) ¡Mis hijos! ¡Han vuelto! Hansel:
Y traemos tesoros.
Gretel:
Y la bruja ya no existe.
Narrador/a:
Desde ese día, el padre, Hansel y Gretel vivieron felices. Y colorín colorado…
Todos:
¡Este cuento se ha acabado! 🎉
TRADUCCIÓN DE LA ADAPTACIÓN TEATRAL: HAMSEL Y GRETEL.
Puppet Play: “Hansel and Gretel” Duration: 10–15 minutes

SCENE 1 – At the Woodcutter’s House
Narrator:
Once upon a time, at the edge of a big forest, there lived a poor woodcutter with his wife and two children, Hansel and Gretel.
Father:
(Sadly) We have no food or money… What will happen to my children?
Stepmother:
(Coldly) I have an idea! Tomorrow, we’ll take them deep into the forest… and leave them there.
Father:
No! I can’t do that! They’re my children!
Stepmother:
If we don’t, we’ll all starve! Narrator:
That night, Hansel and Gretel heard everything.
Gretel:
(Whispering) Hansel, what are we going to do?
Hansel:
Don’t worry, little sister. I have a plan. I’ll pick up white pebbles and drop them on the path so we can find our way home.
(Hansel pretends to collect shiny stones as gentle night music plays.)
SCENE 2 – In the Forest Narrator:
The next morning, the father and stepmother took the children deep into the woods.
Stepmother:
Here, take this piece of bread. Don’t eat it all at once.
Father:
Stay near the fire and rest. We’ll come back for you.
Narrator:
But they didn’t come back. When night fell, Gretel began to cry.
Gretel:
Hansel, we’re lost!
Hansel:
Don’t worry. Look—the moon is shining! The pebbles sparkle like stars. Let’s follow them home. (They walk along following imaginary glowing stones. Happy music.)
Father:
My children! I thought I’d lost you forever!
Stepmother:
(Crossing her arms) Oh… you’re back. What a “surprise.”
SCENE 3 – Back to the Forest Again
Narrator:
But soon, the food ran out again. The stepmother made the father take the children back into the forest.
That night, Hansel tried to collect more pebbles… but the door was locked!
Hansel:
I can’t get outside, Gretel. This time I’ll use breadcrumbs instead. (Change of scene: they walk and Hansel drops breadcrumbs.)
Narrator:
But the birds ate them all.
Gretel:
Hansel… there’s no path!
Hansel:
We’ll keep walking. We’ll find a way.
SCENE 4 – The Candy House
Narrator:
Suddenly, they saw a little house made of bread and sweets.
Gretel:
Wow! What a delicious house!
Hansel:
I’ll taste the roof. You can eat a window! (Funny chewing sounds.)
Witch:
(From inside, sweetly singing)
Nibble, nibble, little mouse—who’s nibbling at my house?
Hansel and Gretel:
It’s only the wind!
Narrator:
But then the door opened, and an old witch appeared.
Witch:
Come in, my dears! I’ll give you food and a soft bed. (They enter.)
Narrator:
That night, the children slept happily… but the witch was evil.
SCENE 5 – Inside the Witch’s House
Witch:
(Morning) Wake up, lazybones! Hansel goes in the cage until he’s fat enough to eat. Gretel, you’ll do the cooking.
Gretel:
No! Please don’t hurt my brother!
Witch:
Silence! Or you’ll go in the oven too!
Narrator:
Every day, the witch asked Hansel to show his finger, but he gave her a little bone instead.
Witch:
Why are you still so thin? Tomorrow, fat or not, I’ll cook you!
Gretel:
(Quietly praying) Please, God, help us…
Witch:
(Growling) Gretel, check the oven! Is it hot enough?
Gretel:
I don’t know how to do it.
Witch:
(Snarling) It’s easy! Look, like this!
(The witch sticks her head in the oven. Gretel pushes her in!)
Gretel:
Into the oven with you, wicked witch!
(Funny fire sound effects and witchy screams.)
SCENE 6 – Back Home Again
Narrator:
Gretel freed Hansel, and together they found chests full of jewels.
Hansel:
This is better than all the bread in the world!
Gretel:
Let’s go home to Father!
(They cross an imaginary river with help from an invisible duck.)
Father:
(My children!) Hansel! Gretel! You’re alive!
Hansel:
And we brought treasures!
Gretel:
And the witch is gone for good!
Narrator:
From that day on, Hansel, Gretel, and their father lived happily ever after. All Together:
And that’s the end of our story!
